Which test should we use?

• One categorical data : Proportion test.

  • H0 : There is no difference.

• Two categorical data : Chi squared test.

  • H0 : There is no relationship. (they are independent.)

• One numeric data : T-test.

  • H0 : There is no difference.

• One numeric and one categorical data : T-test or ANOVA.

  • H0 : There is no difference.

• Two numeric data : Correlation test.

  • H0 : There is no relationship.
